Part 1 - The Introduction

The Original Sin - Introduction

The Bible in Romans 3:23 tells us that, "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". It also tells us that from the time of conception all were born sinners. Psalms 51:5 states, "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me." The NIV translates this passage as, "Surely I was sinful at birth; sinful from the time my mother conceived me."

It is evident from the Scripture that every human was born needing redemption because all of mankind was born in sin except Jesus Christ.

Why did Jesus have to be virgin born?
  • Why was Jesus born different than the rest of all mankind?
  • What is the reason for the virgin birth of Jesus Christ who came to redeem Adam’s fallen race?
  • Why is this true that every person must be born again if our first birth was correct?

If we were not born sinners in a fallen condition we would not need redemption.

There is a Biblical truth to the original sin and there is a reason that every person born of sexual birth was born in sin and has to die. It is for this reason that redemption required that One be born without sex (virgin birth) and pay sin's penalty to make the way for us so we could be born again.
